Invested in something beautiful? We offer a range of aftercare services to help ensure your Mitchel & Co jewellery lasts a lifetime. All of the services below are performed on-site and must be booked in advance.

sizing: wedding ring

Thank you for booking a drop-off time. Where possible, we will endeavour to resize your ring on the same day for your convenience. However, please note that some rings will take more time depending on the design, and will need to be left with us for a longer period.

clean check / polish

Thank you for taking the time to care for your ring. We always recommend servicing your jewellery with us at least once a year.

Where possible, we aim to complete your clean and check within an hour. NB: If you have chosen to book with us on a Saturday, please bear in mind that this service can take longer due to demand.

Occasionally, diamond settings can come loose during the cleaning process and may need to be re-tightened as part of the service. In exceptional cases, we may need to keep the item for a longer period.

Thank you for taking the time to care for your ring. We always recommend servicing your jewellery with us at least once a year.

Where possible, we aim to complete your ring plating on the same day. The ring will need to undergo a full clean and check as part of the re-plating. NB: If you have chosen to book with us on a Saturday, please bear in mind that this service can take longer due to demand.

repair

Thank you for arranging to bring your repair to us. A full appraisal of your repair will be undertaken by our capable team, and where possible we will try to provide an estimate of time and cost on the day.

In exceptional circumstances, we may need to hold onto your item for longer in order to create an accurate brief and will be able to discuss your requirements with you in store. Charges apply for this service and are on an estimate basis.

valuation

Thank you for arranging to bring in your jewellery to Mitchel & Co for valuation. Please be aware that we provide valuations for insurance replacement/loss adjustment and not necessarily re-sale values.

Often, your jewellery will require a clean and polish for us to appraise it thoroughly, and occasionally this will incur additional costs.

A full appraisal of your repair will be undertaken by our capable team, and, where possible, we will try to provide an estimate of time and cost on the day.

In exceptional circumstances, we may need to take in your item for longer in order to create an accurate valuation, and will be able to discuss these requirements with you instore.

Please bring along any old valuations or receipts for your items that you may have.
